Publication from the Conference Board of Canada on Increasing Labour Force

The Conference Board of Canada Link has recently published a report on ways to increase the labour force. The report, entitled Sustaining the Canadian Labour Force: Alternatives to Immigration Link is available on-line after subscribing for free Link to the Conference Board e-library.

In this publication, the authors suggest various options to consider in order to increase the labour force, such as an increase in productivity, making greater use of the under-represented portion of the population (aboriginal people, disengaged youth, people with disabilities, and other visible minorities, for example) and immigration.
